Our Mobile Crisis Team gives fast, in-person help for people having a mental health or substance use crisis. You do not have to wait for an appointment or go to the emergency room. We will come to you — at home, work, school, or another safe place.

- Help decide if more care is needed

What is a Mental Health Crisis?
A mental health crisis is when a person feels very upset, scared, or out of control. You or someone you know might:
- Feel like hurting yourself or others
- Feel very sad, worried, or confused
- See or hear things that aren’t real
- Use drugs or alcohol in a way that is not safe
How to Get Help — Step by Step
If you are in a crisis right now:
- Call our Helpline at 1-877-530-0002 or 334-222-7794
- Our team will talk with you to understand what's happening
- If needed, we will send the Mobile Crisis Team to your location
- Our team will: Help calm the situation, support you, and make a plan for next steps. We'll also connect you to services that can help.
- We will stay with you until you are safe and have a plan in place
When to call 911: If you are in immediate danger and need police, fire, or medical help, call 911 right away. This includes situations like severe injury, a fire, or a crime happening right now.
When to call Mobile Crisis: If you are facing a mental health or substance use crisis and need immediate support, but the situation isn't an emergency requiring police or fire response, call our Mobile Crisis Team. We will provide help on-site, offer support, and make sure you’re connected to the care you need.
