Children's After School Day Treatment Program

Our Children’s Day Treatment/After School Program is an intensive, structured mental health service designed for children and adolescents with emotional or behavioral challenges that interfere with their ability to function in school, home, or social settings. This program provides therapeutic interventions to help children develop the skills needed to manage their emotions, improve their behavior, and enhance their overall functioning at school, home, and in the community.

Our Children’s Day Treatment/After School Program is an intensive, structured mental health service designed for children and adolescents with emotional or behavioral challenges that interfere with their ability to function in school, home, or social settings. This program provides therapeutic interventions to help children develop the skills needed to manage their emotions, improve their behavior, and enhance their overall functioning at school, home, and in the community.

  • Individual, group, and family therapy
  • Coping skills, basic living skills, and psychoeducational services
  • Summer program available for continuity of care
  • Serves Covington, Coffee, and Butler counties

School Year Hours

Monday–Friday, 3:30–6:45 p.m. Consumers attend 3–5 days per week.

Summer Hours

Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. during summer months.

Summer Program Only

Families may participate in the Summer Program only — a separate chart is opened and closed for summer participation.

Who Qualifies

For school-aged children with serious emotional disturbance

Eligible consumers must be diagnosed with serious emotional disturbance or mental illness, be school-aged (4–20 years), and enrolled in an accredited educational program. The program must be reasonably expected to improve symptoms. Expected length of stay does not exceed one academic year. Contact your therapist to request a referral.
