Support Groups & Meetings
Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)
Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others recover from alcoholism. AA meetings provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals who are working to overcome alcohol addiction, offering a place for personal growth and recovery through the 12-step program.
Narcotics Anonymous (NA)
Narcotics Anonymous (NA) is a global fellowship offering support to individuals who are struggling with drug addiction. NA meetings provide a supportive space where members share their stories of recovery, build connections with others in similar situations, and work together to maintain sobriety. NA follows a 12-step program designed to help individuals recover from substance use disorders.
Al-Anon Meetings
Al-Anon is a support group for individuals who are affected by someone else's drinking. These meetings provide a safe, non-judgmental space for family members, friends, and loved ones of alcoholics to share their experiences and gain strength from others facing similar challenges. Through the Al-Anon 12-step program, participants learn how to cope with the impact of alcohol addiction on their lives, find emotional support, and focus on their own well-being.
Alateen Meetings
Alateen is a support group specifically for young people (typically ages 12–18) who are affected by a family member's alcoholism. These meetings provide a space for teenagers to talk about their experiences, connect with others who understand their struggles, and develop healthy coping strategies. Alateen uses the 12-step program to help young people build resilience, find emotional support, and navigate the challenges of living with an alcoholic family member.
