Mobile Crisis Response

In-person crisis support dispatched 24/7 — available via the MyCare tablet, helpline, or direct agency request. Teams are trained in trauma-informed care for law enforcement, EMS, and healthcare workers.

Service Overview

Crisis response trained for first responders

SCAMHC's Mobile Crisis Teams can be requested by first responder agencies via the MyCare tablet, by calling the helpline at 1-877-530-0002, or through direct coordination with the agency. Teams provide on-site de-escalation, clinical assessment, peer support, and warm hand-offs to ongoing care. All Mobile Crisis Team staff are trained in trauma-informed care, with specific attention to the culture and needs of law enforcement, fire, EMS, and healthcare workers. Teams can operate independently or as co-responders with law enforcement.

Teams connect individuals to outpatient services, peer support networks, or inpatient care with arranged transportation.

MyCare Tablet Integration

When a MyCare tablet call escalates to a need for in-person response, staff can dispatch a Mobile Crisis Team directly.

72-Hour Follow-Up

Follow-up interventions can continue for up to 72 hours after the initial response to support stabilization and connection to ongoing care.
