Raising awareness one community at a time
The South Central Alabama Mental Health Speakers Bureau was developed to educate the public and raise awareness about mental health and substance abuse disorders. Our professional staff are available to share knowledge on a variety of topics and can often tailor a presentation to address a specific need — such as response to an incident or coping with stress in the workplace. As a United Fund/United Way agency, this service is provided at no charge to the community. We are available to present at wellness fairs, schools, colleges, churches, civic groups, and businesses.
