Finding the right level of care starts here

Before entering any substance use treatment program, every client receives a comprehensive ASAM-based psychosocial assessment. The ASAM Criteria is the most widely used set of standards for placement, continued service, and transfer of patients with addiction and co-occurring conditions — evaluating biomedical, psychological, and social needs to determine the most appropriate care.

SCAMHC will never refuse an assessment based on ability to pay. We accept most insurance, and our team will discuss financial options with you during your assessment. If the recommended level of care is not immediately available, your assessor will discuss all options and help develop the best plan for your recovery.
