Court Referral Education Program (CREP)

Structured educational classes for individuals referred by the court after an alcohol or drug-related offense — reducing recidivism and empowering participants to make positive life changes since 1990.

Program Overview

Education, accountability, and change

Individuals are referred to SCAMHC by Court Referral Officers following an evaluation. The CREP provides structured educational classes to reduce alcohol- and drug-related crimes. Level I is a 12-hour course over four weeks; Level II is a 24-hour course over eight weeks. Fees must be paid in full before enrolling. Student sobriety is mandatory at all sessions.

  • Level I: 12 hours over 4 weeks — $180 (includes workbook)
  • Level II: 24 hours over 8 weeks — $330 (includes workbook)
  • Classes offered in Butler, Coffee, and Covington counties
  • Level II requires attendance at 4 AA and/or NA meetings
