Types of Volunteer Roles

Our Youth Volunteer Program offers a variety of ways to get involved — each volunteer is matched with a role that fits their interests, skills, and availability.

Program Support Volunteers

Provide direct support to staff and program activities.

  • Assist with organizing materials for workshops or events
  • Help staff set up or clean up activity spaces
  • Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, or preparing handouts

Event & Outreach Volunteers

Represent the organization and promote mental health awareness.

  • Represent the organization at community events, fairs, or school programs
  • Help with tabling, distributing flyers, and engaging with attendees
  • Promote mental health awareness and resources in the community

Special Projects & Leadership

Lead initiatives and take on expanded responsibilities.

  • Lead small initiatives such as fundraising campaigns or awareness projects
  • Serve as a mentor or team leader for newer volunteers
  • Participate in program improvement or creative projects
